Hey, what’s up! This is knowledge to be thought I come to you with something new and exciting. I haven’t done a vlog in a long time just been busy as always. I thought I’d just do something a little bit different from the beaten path. Today I want to talk about motorcycles. I want to give a little review of this Black Yamaha YZF R1 that I have. It’s a 2009 Yamaha YZF R1 this is a very good bike the best that I ever had. This is the fourth one I started off on the fzr 600 12 years ago. I graduated from that I got a 900 what was that a 900 double. Our CBR red and black that way it was pretty nice it wasn’t a step back but I got a 750 GSXR and I sold that one. Then for me, I took a layoff because I really wasn’t interested in the bikes. No more it’s kind of like I rode them and just going through life ups and downs. Whatever I mean I just had to give up the bike thing for a little while.

I just figured I was getting older and I thought I was going to go to a cruiser type. I got another bike that’s what I was thinking about. My homeboy talked me in which I’m glad I am getting this bike and because my purse I was gonna get a 2005 r1. They sold it was like maybe four or five thousand dollars and I was going to get that. They didn’t have any other ones outside of this one that I wanted. I just didn’t want you to know the price was kind of like messing with because I’m el cheapo. I’m glad that I did as far as the r1 my new app I don’t get another sports bike. This was going to be the power is more powerful than I’ve ever had for it weighs more than any other bike. I think this is 450 pounds or less something like that but me being only 155 – 160 pounds floating in between there. I was worried about and the dust that’s the reason why I wanted to go with 2005 2006 and 2007.

I felt that the way to be a little bit more manageable with the distribution of you riding someone. I see that once I adjusted the forks and the suspension it was really applying to how I moved around it floated. It’s very maneuverable work for my riding I don’t do hard riding. I don’t do track riding you know I’m saying I just basically ride. I might push it to 120 I’ll go ridiculous but I push it if it’s looking safe. To do so the manageability of the ride to me is comfortable I did a little a couple of upgrades. The r1 does not come with white wheels so what I did was Plasti Dip. Those wheels on so all I did was just took a couple of two cans of Plasti Dip. It took me three days to get in the ins and outs up the rim. Plasti Dip is a very good product and once it dries it peels off with the consistency of a balloon.

The front right here I took off the mirrors because I just hate those mirrors you can’t see anything but your shoulders.  I put some barians and those bars and mirrors probably hit me like ten dollars on eBay. Got head slammed them it was a little bit of a modification that I had to do but they fit on there. I took out the red seat it was just too much red that’s the only reason why I didn’t want to go with the r1 2009. I like the design of the bike but it was just too much red I had to break it up so the white was really kind of contrasts and offsets it. I got the cow actually it was coming from China and it took like them there two and a half weeks to get here. It finally came and what I like about that is has the black rubberized piece on it. I thought it was coming with the red but I’m glad it came with the black because it also throws a little contrast in it. The overall comfortability of this ride is 100. I don’t know if you see but I got the Akrapovic full exhaust that’s how I came. I wasn’t gonna go and spend a whole bunch of money on no exhaust. I was just gonna get some slip-ons or something like that. I mean you got to be careful on these jokers no but that’s any bike so fires my review it.

Ain’t gonna get technical because I’m not an engineer I just know how I feel to meet it feel good. Now going to the part of I hear people talking about this bike. What should it be a 250 at 350 or 500 or 600 thousand liter bike? I say get what you want because when I got my fzr 600 I’m around the big boys that got them six of them. FZR 600 to me was like damn now after a couple of months became the design that I didn’t like it. The power didn’t like much but I was stuck with it so my advice is to get the bike that you want. My buddy got the same exact bike that our color scheme is a little bit different. He got a thousand he never rolled in a day in his life but he learned how to ride. He learned how to ride in less than a day you know outside my crib. We went up to our local high school he went out there learned how to mess around. His gears next thing he’s out here on his own he does this thing. I mean I told her my advice fires with the respect and what to look for. He’s learning on his own you know I say get the bike that you want. Ultimately wind up spending more money in time searching get what you want in the very beginning. Mechanically for the power then you get that and if you got the beautiful combination of both. If you got the money or the finances or the credit to do it I say go ahead and do that because you know who knows if you’re gonna be here next year to get the bike that you want.

No matter what bike if it’s a 250 or 350 or 360 you can hurt yourself real bad. Wheelchair-bound on any of these things so the thing is once you get them you got to understand what they have or need. I say have a mentor or have a buddy around you that cares about you. The very important is gear when you get one of these bikes. I mean when you ride Michigan and past a lawyer, you don’t really have to wear a helmet if you over 21. I see a lot of you know mainly people that don’t need helmets I see are really Harley riders or the cruisers. Personally, I thought about not doing it because I want to get one of these designer crazy helmets with no front on it and pilot helmets we’re detachable. I just thought about I was like ain’t gonna do that. I’m saying gear is needed to wear a helmet this is my advice to you. My opinion but it’s you know it’s going to help you out if anything happens. Get a nice helmet to buy the design that you want don’t make a difference in person. Make sure that is certified make sure that you got a jacket with padding in it hard shell padding just in case of a fall. I say leather preferably but they got leather mesh intertwined fires breathability.

I mean Lord bless me not to have any accidents or problems on the bike. If it happens I want to make sure I did my part to be protected because you can’t predict what will happen in a day. I was riding six or seven years ago you didn’t see people riding around texting on their phones. Now you got to be extra cautious and what you’re doing. I say always wear pants but they have Kevlar pants they have riding pants. I wear regular pants the pants that I wanted some dionysia. They kept large and they have some padding in it but what I use basically is just regular pants and I wear knee armour and shin armour protecting. I think it is a joe rocket or something type of underwear as you slip these on over your underwear they got hip protection and they got tailbone protection. I recommend to get you some actual riding shoes some joe rocket they’re not a boot but their boots shoe basically or riding shoe. They come up they give you no sufficient ankle support and protection also toe protection side toe and heel protection. I really want some armoured pants with some Kevlar pants but I haven’t seen the exact ones that I want.

Having a bike comes with a lot of responsibility you know I’m saying that you just don’t get done spending money once you buy the bike. I mean you got to make sure that you protect it because you know it’s you your best investment, not the bike. Overall I say if you’re gonna get a motorcycle just learn. Obey the traffic rules keep a watchful eye be a defensive driver have eyes in the back of your head especially if you’re carrying somebody on the back. Be cognizant always on all the time what you’re doing don’t drink and drive. The most important protect it and the one that you carry. Protect others while you are on the road because you’re very vulnerable when you on one of these things. The R1 on the real and the strength I mean I look at Ducati I look at I knew what I wanted regardless of what they had in the showroom. Ducati is opera apparatus or whatever the name I just purely like the design of the bike. I wish they had just another light right here in this fixture but you know it’s moved to me. This had three standard modes aggressive standard and like a beginner mode. This is why I say you can go ahead and get the bike that you want because each needs all these new bikes not really coming with different modes.

They come in with standard and they come in with aggressive mode and they come in with basically a beginner mode. I guess and these are just like on the clicker thumb you can click these and put these settings on. If you go with the beginner mode is really cutting the power of the bike down 50% or so instead of riding up 1000 it feels like maybe a little bit below maybe a 600.A little bit slightly below that by our straddle response you put it on the standard. It’s just basically I put it in a 750 category a meager 750 category and if you put it on aggressive then you get a full throttle of the r1. The Gixxer or GSXR 1000 or 750 whatever the case you may have. It becomes one of these modes that’s what I’m saying. You might as well get the bike that you want. The technology is coming on these bikes it’s making it friendlier for a person to go ahead. They get what they want on the first go-around so I plan to stick with this for a while. I’ve been watching psycho Cruiser for almost two or three months then actually helped me kind of pick up some tips on what I need. I’ve been riding the Cruiser for a long time it’s always good. You can always learn from people and their experience of riding a bike. Psycho Cruiser has a great channel to keep that up and you inspired me to actually do this kind of review.

I believe that this r1 is the best bike it depends on what you consider best for you. Actually, the look fits my personality I thought it was going to be too heavy but everything on this bike fits me. Race these bikes are not huge guys so I mean a little bit bigger than me so if not the same size so these bikes are not made to you. Don’t feel like you’re too small just have some cojones and get what you want. I guess one other thing I can point out about this bike is the cornering is pretty good. Out of all the bikes that I had out of the 600 to 750 the 900 this one to me it just seems a little bit nimbler. It’s a newer technology I don’t know but the dynamics of this bike is better than what I had previously I say.

The next bike that I really loved a lot was my GSXR. My GSXR 750 I say the 900 CBR I’m really not a big fan of CBI. I’m really not a big fan of a CBR per se CBI’s are nice don’t get me wrong but I just didn’t fill them. I didn’t fill them that much I just don’t like to design. The thing that I hate about the new bikes land like 2010 11 to 12. It’s like they’re going some space-age to the front and it’s like throwing me off. It is looking to unraised spikey the r1 is a great bike in my opinion just respect the beast. Be courteous but be a defensive driver be very cognizant to what you’re doing wear your gear at all times. I don’t care where you going because the 10 miles per hour type of fall can up your knees man to up your elbows. Some things you need to know monetary wise or whatever I can do. I’m still come to you and talk about some bike issues. The last is always made purse till then be safe y’all one on this right here.
