We are heading right now to go pick up Kristina’s first motorcycle Yamaha r3 2017 and we’re so excited. If you’re just watching this video for the first time I have a G6 R 600. Christina is now gonna have a Yamaha YZF R3 motorcycle.
We will go get her bike are you excited? Josh and Mike are helping us out on Yamaha Camp Hill and it doesn’t have a name that’s why I wiped her down with some fancy matte polish. I don’t have to use the mat because there is a different polish for matte finish. ABS you got on this bad boy it’s a 321 CC monster so I’m gonna have to ride it home for her. We’ll do some sweet walkarounds and put it outside so that we can take some pictures of her on it. I know there’s nobody in here okay always go sideways do it dude.
Always look so good when they’re moving they were meant to move. I’m going to be doing a lot of speeding on this bike. I’m gonna take twenty percent of all those proceeds first time on our three. I was excited but then I realized that it looks pretty cool. I gotta say it is very it’s very comfortable. Let’s start, it’s got a lot of agility it’s so easy to throw around. If you wreck one it’s like who cares five grand. This is a new bike so I should this reminds me of it’s kind of upright like a naked bike.
This is really a nice and comfortable bike and the brakes are a little bit soft. It’s really comfortable and very easy to ride. The low and high beam just stopped me and said one of the lights is non-stop. Let’s get the hell out of here I want to ride this bitch it almost reminds me of like a scooter. It’s a nice bike did you get it done let’s go Joey thanks for everything.
I gotta say very cool bike that’s not getting run over in the parking lot. I think it’s gonna fit her really well because I’m 5’10 and it feels maybe just a little small. All right let’s do this so it has a new tires and obviously it’s a brand new bike. I had it point two miles on it because I just took it around the street front brakes feel a little bit lacking. It could be that you’re just getting warmed up. It is so light it feels like a scooter or something.
I’m not supposed to take it over 7,000 but you know what it’s not a big deal. You’re supposed to run you’re breaking in go through the gears. Don’t stay at one rpm for too long this thing is so light. It’s got brand new tires and everything so you don’t really want to be like ripping it around too much. You know what it’s something about these bikes it almost feels so easy to ride that you almost don’t take it seriously.
Sometimes that can be more dangerous than riding the big bikes because I want to like ramp this thing off curbs. We set the shift light to come on at 7,000 because technically that’s what Yamaha says you should be shifting up at 7,000 for the first 500 miles. She’s excited so what we’re gonna do is she has her motorcycle license and everything. She hasn’t ridden in a few months now because we were moved across the country and did all kinds of stuff.
I’ll take this to the parking lot probably tomorrow and we’ll do a whole like learn to ride series start from the basics. This thing’s geared a lot it’s shorter than mine like I usually take my first gear all the way up. This one wants to shift a lot sooner how’s it look he’s got a little bit of power to it. I like it man this is a nice bike it’s fun it’s easy it has plenty of power for her. To be completely honest I think she’ll want more power I give it three months but we’ll see you guys heard it here first.
Definitely we will do more first rides and stuff down there as well hits 7,000 rpms very easily. It’s kind of crazy that you have to keep it. They want you to keep it below that that’s not gonna happen so I will say I was talking about my bike is a GSXR 600. It has rider modes and when you can put my bike in B mode which is I think 60% of the power. I was thinking it would be about the same as a 300 and I can tell you right now this bike is not as fast as my bike in B mode.
My first impressions of the bike it’s a very solid bike. I think the front brake could be a little bit stronger but since it’s such a light bike I mean you don’t really need that much stopping power. I’m worse than I’m used to the Brembo brakes on my other did it it’s not as fast as I thought. I think it’ll be good for Christina it is so freakin light though like and the riding position is very comfortable. It’s very easy to use shifting everything feels really good very tactile all the bar positioning handle hand positioning of everything feels really good.
It’s like borderline almost too easy like it’s just it almost overseers other. I’m excited for her to start riding it and see what she thinks of it. I’m gonna go home park this thing and then we’ll take it from there so I’ll get you guys off the GoPro. There she is the black beauty is home. I think it’s gonna be a really good starter bike for Christina. How light it is and everything it just feels like a small bike. Sa learner bike it’s a good bike but it looks really cool. It has a lot of stuff up there I can tell you I saw a neutral. That’s got everything gear indicator about miles total. I’m excited to start riding or start seeing her ride the bike. The Yamaha r3 2017 with ABS and we’re gonna start doing and learning to ride it series.
