It’s an absolutely glorious day here in Blighty today l to be out on another bike review. I’m very thrilled to say that I’m out on a Suzuki today. It is none other than the 2017 GSX R1000 much-awaited along anticipated sports bike getting Suzuki GSX R1000 sport bike. Back into the top right of the liter sports bike stick around stay tuned for the next few minutes. I’ll give you my first impressions review for the Suzuki GSXR thousand.

The first order of the day is to get part of this truck as soon as I can which is rather a impeding progress. Whereas on here work an absolute treat big old stalking. I am looking at things that work well. A little bit of vibration when you open her up but normal road riding speeds it is absolutely fine. I went to get a clear view Park this truck cause that by lovely smooth horses. Their engine on this bike sounds wonderful even through the standpipe it’s got a lovely sound to it and no vibrations or anything peacefully smooth and then straight into. So we’re in a 30 mile an hour zone and just riding along normally here but complain at all at low revs. I’m in fourth gear so we’re back to talk and the thing is absolutely fine to change it down a little bit. See actually very hard but the position that you’re riding in its three-part of what I call open for a sports bike.

The positioning of your hands your feet and your bum is quite well space compared to the part that I know best which is of course Montana golly. This is quite a comfortable riding position I’m just going to get into this Pacific. We’re at the 30 zones as you’d expect the pike is blisteringly fast. It’s 200 brake horsepower machine and actually the Windex is pretty good optics. If you cut down then it’s been pretty comfy in the wind block. Now I’m not saying you’re necessarily one at or on the spot. I think you probably could they be used to the sports park position but certainly when protection is pretty good of it handling around.

These corners are beautiful who’s really light on the turn. Now the gearbox is beautiful and slips this standard bike doesn’t have a quick shifter. If you want the quick shifter and all over then you need to go to the GSXR thousand R which is the slightly upgraded version of this bike. You get some cosmetic differences you get different suspension upgraded suspension slightly different. I’ll just sort of the inverse of this one in terms of it being a flat background with light digits. A few other bits and bobs but this despite the standard bike it’s got the same engine. Same 200 horsepower and the components aren’t to be slipped out. It’s got the big piston sheriff Forks the front which suit you’ve done there lots of testing on.

Actually outperformed some of the competition that has active or more exotic suspension mechanics. They’ve got that thought hang about I’ve ridden a lot of the character offer sports types of Lake. This one just feels living faster lots of words like the acceleration is so physically crooked for me. Recently on the s1000 R and on the 5-row, this thing is an absolute weapon. Welcome back GFX out there so that’s an epic legend. I love it yeah if you want there’s not going to be a lot of the road that can keep up with you. You’re either one of these people – not all of these parts that you have to exercise extreme self-respect or self-restraint. The losing speed that very quick order the electronics package on this is active.

It just lives up to all the way from these pipes that have got one of those clever inertial measurement units. In all three axes is pitch roll and your societies analyzing. Exactly what position is in and changing things like the traction control setting.  Notice it doing that it very much gives you a sense of well-being in the park. It makes you very derived it makes you know on to the Fox standard road rider. It just flat as your ID and it makes it easy to ride one attractive thing. An active weapon we’ve ascertained that the track this far.

Let’s get off this bit of dual carriageways and that will fall somewhat Stillwater Bachmann’s. There to the dispensable depot, the crutch of this machine is super light. It was really nice and the brakes I’m not gonna accept at that rate. We’ll do that a second but the brakes bill absolutely fine. The joys of motorcycling now the standard bike doesn’t come with the quick shifter. As I mentioned death which is a bit of a shame but I guess Suzuki has to make you know some differentiation. The higher-spec bike but I think if always fire the basic machine. I would look to adding a good shifter I don’t know if you actually can but I’d be very surprised.

If you can’t follow up will be on the white back to white vans. It’s my lucky day my old Beau’s after getting used to sports bikes. I’m fast it’s quite comfortable to ride actually there’s a four-cylinder machine. The engine is physically quite warded which means the body is quite wide so your legs are fed. I’m used to spraying out quite a lot which means you can get a good purchase on the side of the bike. It gives you a feeling of control over the machine and again answers your confidence in riding it.

As a result of the reach, the ground is quite a long way so I’m all sort of on tipico when I stop but it’s not a heavy bike. That is not a problem at all the switchgear on this machine is very nice. It’s nice and positive it’s got a bit of a mix actually between what I call the sort of PCB controls so the mode changing and so on is on those sort of PCB rocker switches. The indicators have a really good feeling about them for example you know you can really feel it you’ve engaged. It so like the switch gear it’s not to complicate your looking either which I like. I think that I’m not so keen on is the display it’s got a yet LCD monochrome display.
