Suzuki GSX R1000 motorcycles again and we have a treat today. I’ve done the unboxing video of this iconic racing bike which has gone very well. Today I get to ride it all this is gonna be interesting. I am six foot four and this Suzuki GSX R1000 bike so has one start press in it. I do feel very much like a monkey on a circus-like. This is one of the most to learn over bikes. I have ever written let us say that it’s just literally down to my height. This is why I don’t really ride sports bikes too much.I’m even more land over but at least I feel a bit more like on the bike. The first thing I’ll know and I’m really impressed with it.
Actually is how smooth the throttle you know a lot of these lights can be quite jerky. It’s really not quite a bit of electronic gadgetry on it in depending on our traction control motion-detecting braking. I’m not going to go into that too much but the things that they’ve added which are supposed to be so good for you. The normal riding is they’ve got a low rpm assist which basically means that it is a bit easier to ride at lower rpm’s. I assume that just makes patrol less sensitive. Low down clutch is so light but that’s not predictable. It is the exact reason why I prefer 600 you know. I feel very much like I’m holding and right back the whole time but for some people, that’s what they want.
A lot of people love when you just not using what the potential on the bike. What is the bike light for an everyday rider? Well, I’m putting six I am doing 30 miles an hour it’s a four half thousand rpm and it is comfortable. I am not massively double-crossing so then the question is I have to keep changing down again? I think I would take it already got a talk to this Gelman I thought I come down this way and going through a country road. It’s not excessively loud when you’re riding it. If you live in an area is a brilliant white road where people will go a little bit quicker.
It feels very natural impressed for all of us the smoother. It’s noticeably better than the old thousand I rode that didn’t have a little bit not as much as a lot of people went on. You know once you take a little bit of taking up at the beginning. It’s fine but this is definitely noticeably sluzer. As you took more people were dying about the old one on board and made some changes it happens. To know this road is hideously bumpy and the texture is horrible. I can feel the texture is kind of firm but it’s not jarred me at all. Although I may not have found any big problem that was bumping.
The brakes are all very strong there is once you start breaking and I really start working. It takes very little force but that’s just very first bit. Nothing really going on let’s try some maneuvering slower speed it has the turning that’s a full lock. It has the turning circle of a barge which is common in these alloys. I care about having more speed and power than you can possibly use on the road. This port is very full it is a little bit for me I’m not a fast rider. It’s normally going to be pretty hard but it seems to be firm and sporty. I need to stop somewhere I could respond to a good look over because it is quite a lot cheaper than the alternatives out there.
Wherever it is in the range it’s got the power I cannot get over how smooth this thing is. Obviously this exhaust is not shocked this is your exhaust which has been put on. The standard one which you have seen in that video slipped they’re massive. Following the void actually you’re uncertain going on about how massive bags or swords. I think bigger exhausts of the keys before now but it is hero 4. They have to make a lot of concessions for that now. As I say this bike is a lot cheaper than a lot of other competitive bikes. The answers not really the classic thing that I’ve noticed. The things like the levers and the reset and the exhaust of stuff. All the cheap bits they know you’re going to change yourself. So they put cheaper versions on the bar you know these feel like nice levers very solid,
They look very much like the other ones I think the black coating is making them look a lot better than when they’re silver. I think they are the stock ones but they know as I say equipment. Even people might think fancier bits on very large nice to the wide rear brake. This is horrible in every single tip of the word I mean it’s even square. That’s something that they know that you’re gonna just going to have that off. I bet you that is really easy to remove. Maybe it’s easy to remove here’s your toolkit so long as it’s in our little coat that is your pillion seat.
You can’t have a lot of junk in your trunk if you’re going to be sitting on that looks-wise. It looks nice I think it’s a good shape bike my only criticism though on the looks is that they just haven’t changed much. Look over the years and they just haven’t really changed the looks of these chicks. As much it feels very much like you know Porsches that don’t really change. They do change and maybe that’s a good thing because people just love the shape and the design of these things. I like to have something that stands out a bit.
