We will be testing a 2016 Suzuki GSX R1000 that’s really good. I like this paint metal clucking sorry about the breathing. Let’s see let’s go and start up the Suzuki Gsx R1000. First, it’s like it’s very tall very tough very leaned. They want to go on the first day for a second like this guy’s Tennessee Volunteers bike the walls. All right now normally I’m a cruiser guy you know my bikes over there behind it that volunteers bike which is very comfortable. I guess I don’t know how you support black riders to do it because this is very uncomfortable.
This is a demo event put on by Suzuki at Knoxville. Suzuki Yamaha identities first my mirrors okay so we’re fifth-year almost 60. I’m only pulling 4,000 rpms it’s crazy not a lot of bull and forth. Fifth-year here succeed and okay I was wrong. I wasn’t really given it the beans that’s where but a chicken wing. I didn’t really check out the stats about this bike. I wasn’t sure what I was going to get to ride when I came in here. There are Six with the highest gear I wasn’t sure what I’m gonna get to ride. Before I came down here but you know I requested this and that’s what I got so kind of lucky. I got a safe bike is incredibly uncomfortable also this I’m pretty sure this one I have ABS.
I took a peek at it before I got on it and I didn’t see the guide rail for it so no ABS. I’ve never I’ve ridden one bike that had abs and really gets on it. Like I said this bike is incredibly uncomfortable when you’re sitting. Still, I got to say though once you get going it’s not so bad. Right now all the weight is on my wrists unless I take it off with my legs which is what you’re supposed to do. In all fairness when you actually give it a little bit of throttle that tour kicks in. It starts to pull you back and it takes away all that holding your own weight. You’re just going to give just a little bit of forwarding bite with your back. Actually to counteract it out and then you were fine and us out sounds great.
I’m gonna kind of giant group right here for this dimmable event. I’ve never been to a demo event where we did a group ride before. Usually, they just entered the keys and say you know to come back and be careful which that’s a pretty good demo event. I like this you get a little comradery you get to meet some people in the area that also enjoy motorcycling. That’s pretty great enough about that let’s talk about this bike. I love the color it’s fantastic the amount of power is pretty astonishing. I’ve ridden sportbike before you notice I didn’t use the plural of that I use the singular.
My first motorcycle starter was a 2011 Ninja 250r and I like the bike. It was good but it was very uncomfortable. The seat was about as hard as the pavement that I’m currently riding on. That never gets old and when I finally paid it off I decided that I wanted to get into the motorcycle I like. I love motorcycling I really do and I wanted it to be something more comfortable. My friend of mine had a cruiser he had a 2006 Honda shadow 750 and that was a fun bike. It was a different kind of experience and it was just something that I knew. I could use it for long commutes let’s just the weekend my riding is commuting because of war and so I decided I was going to go with the cruisers. I got my Boulevard I really do like it, the motorcycle wave I gotta say if you wanted a weekend bike that you don’t have to do.
Commuting on and just go out and have to have a blast on this bike. Right here can give it all to you and then some. It really is more powerful than you would need for the street. It’s you’re gonna have to be a really mature kind of you will have to have really matured. You really should be getting a bike like this I mean do what you want to do. It’s your bike it’s your money it’s your life but you know if you haven’t matured then you were going to get all the speeding tickets. In the world, you’re going to ride completely unsafe not like I was doing. You’ll just you could end up in a world of hurt and I don’t want to see that happened to anybody.
I really don’t some of you may know some people who have had motorcycle accidents I hope that never happens to you. It’s a very real possibility you have to be careful about that. The Hayabusa which is even more insane and bike. I didn’t realize could be test ridden on this ride at which I did know. I might have given that a go but this is the last ride of the day. I believe and he said that’s the kind of bike that will make you feel like the man that Red Bull energy drink. That Monster Energy Drink insists you are I got that I cut the turn signal it rocked me back. I really thought we were going to come front wheel off on that one. I’m pretty sure I’m in a mode right now I don’t know where the mode switches.
I say it doesn’t feel like this bike really likes being tipped over. I know it does that always flabbergast to me if you ever watch any video where you get up in sick. People go out on one of these roof rides and sponsored by the manufacturers like this one. I’m always afraid to even ask him if I open the bike up they’ll say give me those keys. I believe it is the naked version I got the full Pierce boy. I guess it’s more my fault in the bikes at this point. The bike does feel pretty uncomfortable for commuting.
