A quick review of the 2021 Ninja 400 because, let’s face it, what the world really needs is yet another Ninja 400 review right. This video is not meant to be a comprehensive review of the bike. It’s just meant to be a you know. These are my impressions about the it. impressions kind of a brief overview of what it feels like to ride it and how I compare it to other motorcycles. I’ve owned all right. For starters, I, like this bike. A lot I will tell you that you get a lot for the money, that is for sure, even though it is considered like a beginner bike and a you know, an inexpensive bike. Look dear! Don’t one hit those you get a lot for your money. You know! No, it does not have the latest tech of everything, but it has everything you really need, and It’s kind of living proof that writing a slow, a motorcycle fast is mor fun than the opposite.

Evaluating this Bike

You know you kind of have to evaluate this bike for what it is. Not for what also exists out there or for what you might want it to be, or for what you think It’s trying to be. This is a basic motorcycle. It goes fast and it does what It’s supposed to do. It is not a competition bike, it is not a race replica. It’s not trying to be a race replica. It is not trying to be that fast. It has usable, predictable power. It’s not going to surprise you, if you twist the throttle a little too much you’re, not going to flip, the and wind up buying your ass. I mean you might, but you really got ta want it. You know I mean you really got a crank that throttle for that to occur. This bike reminds me of why I wanted to ride motorcycles in the first place, to tell you the truth. Just have fun on to have a blast on I’ve owned.

2021 Ninja 400 Versus 600 Sport Bikes

My last bike believe it or not, was a Kawasaki zx6r, the 636 and the bike ahead before that was a Honda CBR 600 and those are great bikes but they’re uncomfortable and I Don’t race. I Don’t go to the track so eventually I kind of had a a bit of an epiphany, and I realized that I’m not supposed to be writing those kind of mics, because That’s not the kind of writing I want to do. You know I baited taking my 636 and putting on new rear sets to move the pegs down put on. You know, coupons that are a little higher, but I was still just afraid of the throttle. You know I had throttle anxiety, even when I set the setting, you know to cut 20 % off the power. You know, I wonder, like really grab the throttle and give it a good twist and not like wind up in a tree.

You know It’s fun to me to really you know good thing, you know and not zipping. It is it into oncoming traffic. So this bike kind of scratches that itch or you know or needs that demand yeah. I could have gotten a ninja 650 and probably accomplished all the same goals. I had in mind were my new bike. What that bike is heavier? This bike is so damn light. I mean It’s like effortless and I mean effortless to turn it. I mean he just kind of has you just kind of have to think about where you want to go and it goes there. I know tons of other reviewers said the exact same thing.

Well, It’s true. That’s why everybody says that you know It’s so freaking truth. In fact, you could kind of you know like turn this thing with your hips in a way like you know, remember when you used to ride your ten-speed bike, no hands and you can kind of turn it with just your you know your hips, and just by Leaning, That’s what this bike is. Like I mean yet you got a push left, go left push right, go right, but just barely look squirrel. Try not to kill this squirrel. Can you all hmm squirrel made it out alive, so It’s just so easy to turn, and It’s such a pleasure in such a immense pleasure to ride in an urban environment which I do quite frequently, even though I Don’t live in an urban, even though I Don’t live in an urban environment I like to go ride to cities and then ride around cities, and It’s just so good for that because of the lightness because of the upright seating position.

Ninja 400 Braking Power

Where does this bike not do so hot I’ll tell you the brakes. The brakes are not great they’re a little spongy and you got to really pull the lever. You know for the front brake, but that said they’re not that bad. I mean It’s a light. You Don’t need a ton of braking power. What else did I like about this fight? You have the brakes, I mean I mean the suspension is not adjustable and I suppose that bothers me. But again I Don’t I’m not going to go to the track, I’m not going to race. This thing, so It’s not really an issue for me, plus I’m, like the body type, that this bike seems to have been made for eat on five, seven, almost five, eight. I’M like a hundred and seventy pounds and the suspension is, is perfect for that. You know, as far as I feel, if you’re over six feet tall, this bike, probably isn’t for you. You know if you’re a heavy guy, if you’re in the 200s, again you’re, probably going to, want adjustable suspension or a cruiser or something you know.

But if you’re going to be doing a lot of back road, like I’m doing right now, tooling around and you’re, not looking to win any trophies, this is really a great bike. You know, I suppose It’s a beginner’s bike, but I’m not a beginner and I love it and it fits the bill for me. I’ve been riding for almost 20 years, so you know take that. I Don’t know what it means. Does it mean I’m a slow and I’m a wimp, because I never wanted to race or track a bike? Do you track the Hays? I Don’t know okay, another thing I Don’t like about this bike and actually I’m not sure if I Don’t like it or not, but you should know that the clutch is incredibly light. Incredibly light, you barely feel a friction zone at all. So if you’re a new rider, that might be a little bit of an issue, although you know I learned on a ninja 250 – and I remember the clutch being very light on that bike. In fact the Kawasaki zx6r 636. I thought the clutch was took too much effort to use. You know my hand would get tired, and I remember the Honda, the CBR 600 being like that as well. You know I do like that. This has a feathery like clutch and I think most experienced riders prefer that, but I do know, I think, right. A light. Clutch is supposed to be dangerous in the hands of a noob. I believe That’s the prevailing wisdom. Where am I going anyway? What am I doing here?

Ninja 400 Clutch

I guess I’m going to turn around. I wanted to just ride that twisty bitter road behind us, because That’s pretty picturesque and you get a sense of all the turning capabilities yeah so that light clutch may be an issue for some riders. The light clutch and the kind of spongy ish brakes those might be issues for some riders. I Don’t really mind either to tell you the truth. You know I Don’t I Don’t brake hard and late. You know, That’s not me, That’s not the kind of rider. I am i brake late, but not super hard and, and these brakes are more than enough, in fact, some of my on some of my the race replicas I’ve owned. Arguably those bikes had too much brake. Sometimes I grabbed them, and I stopped too fast. You know – and I felt like you know, something’s going to happen. You know like a stoppie or whatever or whatever that That’s called, maybe not a full-on stompy, but I certainly felt a slightly unnerved when those brakes really grabbed in and slowed the bike down. So much to the point where it kind of jostled, my posture, you jostle my riding position where I felt like you know my ball smashed into the tank and uh. You know there was stress, put on my wrist to the point where I maybe wasn’t even able or I was um.

It became more challenging to control the bike because of the pressure that that braking caused. You know the pressure that I put on my wrists. Look at me making this corner, like you know, when you’re, when you’re moto blogging motovlogging, you know you know It’s harder to concentrate on having really good form and riding you know perfectly so back to the bike yeah. I love this Ninja. 400. It’s really quite nice. Now I may outgrow it in six months or a year and then I may wind up getting a ninja 650, but you know because That’s another disadvantage of this bike. I have written it. I have written it on the highway on the interstate highway and you can do that. It’s fine! You know no, It’s not as stable as a heavier bike, because this bike turns so easily. You give up a little bit or maybe a lot of it. You give up some straight-line tracking ability and when you’re on an interstate, you know that kind of straight-line tracking stability is kind of what you want. You know what I mean. You want to know that if you’re going 85 and you hit a bump or you get a weird crosswind that that bikes, going to be stable and It’s not going to be perturbed, you know It’s not going to kind of move around or feel like It’s moving around.

Highway Riding

So, if That’s the kind of riding that you intend on doing lots and lots of interstate highway riding at high speed again, this probably is not the bike for you. But if you’re doing this, if you’re on this kind of road that I’m on right now, you know that you’re going to have no complaint. In fact, you might even prefer it to your 600. I mean, unless you’re going balls to the wall, all out wide open throttle all the time. You know, then, yeah stay on your race replicas, but if you want to have fun and not scare the out of yourself every other corner, this will do the job and put a big-ass smile on your face. What am i got? I got 840 miles on this thing and you know i have yet to have a you know: a butt, puckering experience where the bike did something I didn’t want it to do or did something that I didn’t think I told it to do. You know It’s sort of um in that I like. I Don’t want to be apprehensive about my bike. I Don’t want to be scared of my bike.

I Don’t want to have throttle anxiety. You know I Don’t want to be scared about. You know giving the bike too much gas. You know, arguably That’s another flaw of this bike. The clutch I mean not the clutch, so the throttle has a lot of play in it, which I Don’t really mind to tell you the truth. I, like any throttle that I can you know I can mess around with not something that you only got like two or three millimeters worth of twists. You know before you go from, you know close to wide open. You know closed a lot close to a wide open throttle. Wot I like to have some cranking some twisting. You know range I like a little so you know so it fits me. I mean if you’re different, if you like, a really twitchy throttle again. This bike is not for you, you know, I Don’t know how else to say that you know or what was I talking about before I decided to start talking about the throttle. I Don’t know, what’s this doing oh yeah at this, It’s crazy bridge.

It’s a one-lane bridge over here to the right that they really need to replace and make into a two-lane bridge. I Don’t know why the municipality hasn’t done that yeah, so where the? What was that talking about ninja 400, but specifically talking about the throttle and then before I was talking about throttle who what the hell was I talking about. I can’t remember: oh yeah, a straight-line stability at high speed, this bike highway miles. You know highway, meaning interstate, I Don’t mean you know like two-lane highway with a you know, a top speed limit of 50 or 55 or even 60. I’M talking interstate highways 65 miles per hour and over this bike does sacrifice a little bit of high-speed straight-line stability for It’s insane, cornering ability. You know – and I think That’s all just related to the weight of this bike, because It’s you know where do the specs is 360s, something and three-six-two-five, maybe 370 370 pounds of wet. I mean That’s a light bike. No! That’s like insanely light. Your 600 class Supersport race replica, you know It’s going to, be like four hundred and thirty pounds. Roughly That’s a big difference in a motorcycle. You know and that lightness just Trant it. For me, it translates into flick ability, as they say it turns into turn ability. You know. The other thing is to these tires are a little narrower than what you would find on a mid weight.

Highway Speed

You know a 600 sport bike, a 600 Supersport race replica. So That’s going to probably make you feel just a little less stable at high speed in a straight line. Some people say that this this bike does not corner, does not have like super reassuring cornering when you really tip it over and give it some gas. I haven’t noticed that yet but uh I haven’t really, you know, pushed the envelope of this thing. Yeah, That’s not true. I have pushed the envelope. I just haven’t. Maybe pushed that particular envelope of some really like hair. You know taken hair for a turn at high speed. You know or really tight to sending radius turn at high speed. I have yet to do that. You know at a high rate of speed. I’ve done that you know a tight radius descending, whatever the to call it. You know I just haven’t done it at like you know, high speed.

I Don’t like this he’s ahead at high speed, I’d like to do it at a good speed, and I Don’t like to take those turns like that. You know at a ridiculous. You know dangerous speed and she’s, not my style of ride. I’M a bit of a mellow rider to say the truth. I like to go fast and I like the corner. You know I like carving and quartering, but you know I Don’t. I Don’t need to be like and riding at the engine edge of the performance off envelope of the bike I mean I wish this card for him. He was going a little faster, but I Don’t mind doing you know 50 on this road. Oh good he’s turning or she I Don’t know. I Don’t know the gender of the driver. They are turning all right. You know, you know this road.

I think the speed limit for the most part for most parts of it is 45. You know – and I can generally I can do almost all the turns at about that speed – maybe a little lower, maybe 40, for some of the more tighter ones. But plenty of many of these turns I can do at 50 55 and That’s kind of where I want to do them. I Don’t want to be going 70 on this road, you know or 75 or 85. That’s not me, I’m not a racer like that. I’M not a squid, I’m not a fool again, you know, I’m a you know, I’m a seasoned to mature Rider on a beginner bike. Great, It’s kind of weird. I mean you think about it, but this is the kind of bike I like I like a light bike. You know my first bikes, I ever rode were light bikes. You know light standards, light sports standards. You know, and that’s what I you know and I kept going up into bigger and bigger and faster and faster bikes.

Better Than Liter Bikes?

So to speak I mean I, I never wanted a liter bike. You know, That’s just not for me. That’s like a leader bike. What am I going to do the leader by you know, I guess drive across America on a an interstate, but That’s no, That’s not what I’m going to do. I Don’t have that kind of time, so you know I kept getting sportier and in faster bikes, and then I you know I kind of felt like a year ago that those bikes didn’t fit my style of riding and what I want to do on it. Right you know I want to do this. I want to go 55 on this road yeah. You know maybe even 60, like I’m doing now. You know, and I want to like, carve the apex and really perfect my turning skills, because you know when your motovlogging, I find it hard to focus 100 % on your riding technique and style, but this is what I want to do. I want to do this. You know I Don’t want to go 90 on this road. You know that would be really dangerous going 90 on this road. There are a lot of deer and squirrels and stuff.

So you know I Don’t know if you’d be able to stop in time plus. You know there are a lot of bicycles on this road too, and a lot of them. You know they Don’t really hug the white line, so you’ll come around and turn like this one and suddenly there’s a bicyclist like almost in the middle of the road. When you come through the turn – and you know, and if you’re doing 90 you’re going to you’re going to knock that guy right off the road, you know – and I Don’t want to be a guy killing a cyclist. I am a cyclist, you know, That’s my other passions, cycling and motorcycling, so I Don’t want to kill any motorcyclists or pedestrians or hikers or squirrels or deer. Actually, if I ran into a deer that would kill me and a deer probably retire, both bite, so I like this bike, a lot. I Don’t think any new rider should feel like It’s too intimidating. I also Don’t think that any experienced riders should think that It’s too beginner of a bike or too primitive of a bike or that it lacks and capabilities.

Versus 650’s

You just have to be honest with yourself about what kind of motorcycling you wish to do. You know this bike fits the need, the needs of a lot of riders. If you know what I mean, It’s, not It’s not just a beginner bike that you outgrow and then you move to your 600, your 650 or your 750 or whatever. It is a bike that you could, you know, buy as a first-time rider as a new rider and keep for you know the rest of your riding career. To be perfectly honest, you know, assuming that you want to just do the right kind of riding I’m doing right now, which is like kind of a you know, back road fun.

That said, if you want to do a lot of interstate highway miles, you might need another bike or you might need two bikes like what I’m thinking of doing to be perfectly honest, is to have this bike and also have a ninja 650, and I would use A ninja 650 for the rides, where I know I’m going to be spending a lot of time on interstate highway because I actually enjoy that kind of riding too I like going fast on the highways and weaving in an attic. You know III want to say interstate. I keep saying highway, but I, when I say highway, I usually in this review – I mean interstate highway. You know something. You know three lanes divided highway. You know three lanes on one side, three lanes on the other side, that kind of thing with exits. You know and a divider, you know with a speed limit of 65 mph, That’s the kind of highway. I’M talking about this for you and I like right.

You know I you know. Last year I was like you know, I was kind of a maniac on the highways. Those highways interstate highways is that rain, some water on my advisor and on the road yeah. I guess it rained down here for a minute. There’s That’s a lot of fun to go super fast on the interstate highways and to weave in and out of traffic. You know and It’s a lane split a little and to uh. You know I Don’t know just weave in and out of the cars. That’s fun, dangerous is, but fun is too so we’ll see, maybe I’ll get that kind of riding accomplished on this bike, but I sort of doubt it maybe the more I get it used to this bike and It’s sort of a twitchy, easily turnable characteristics and maybe The more I get when I get used to that, I’m going to wipe the camera because I think it has water on it now it is It’s actually raining here, but the sky is blue. What the summer It’s like, hail, I feel like do you know it? Would hail great? Oh you know. I’M going to make this nice little video to kind of get my riding impressions for the ninja 400. I’M going to test out my GoPro setup and yeah. It’s going to hell, cuz!

Best Beginner Bike?

That’s the kind of life that I have. You know nothing ever works out as planned. Oh boy, you know, and of course I should stop writing and let these you know, you know what they say. You learned that no motorcycle classes like try not to ride when it just starts raining because it lifts all the oil and debris off the road and the roads are super slick when it first starts raining. Well, I’m going to ignore all that advice. What I am going to do on a minute. This is the exit this make you one-way. What I am going to do is go back to go back to where I came and hope that It’s not raining where I was. You know cuz. This is definitely just some little like shower because, as you can see, the Sun is shining. I hope this video isn’t up. You know, because there’s water on the lens, because I feel like I’m delivering a winner of a motovlog right now.

I feel, like I’m saying some really cool, which it you know. Probably is it true, but oh here we go, cyclists see. I know I Don’t want to be going one hundred miles an hour where I wiped this lady out. Well, you know you’re, not even knowing it look at that swimmers. I can’t really. This is like super muddy, this water, I wouldn’t swim in there. Maybe they just had a blanket, they relied on a blanket all right. I think the rain has stopped advisers, so you know I got a. I got a get: a new visor cuz it slightly scratched and B, maybe put some of that waxy on it that uh. You know the hydrophobic wax stuff that allows the water I’m driving. Really slow because I’m really worried about tire grip right now, you know and put on some hydrophobic crap on the visor, so it all just beads up and uh and blows right off. I got to do that, although you know I Don’t habitually or intentionally a ride in the rain. So maybe I Don’t need the hydrophobic wrap, but I figure It’s a good hedge, oh yeah. Can you see the rain coming? Where is it coming?

Riding in Wet Conditions

It’s a blue sky up there, where is this rain falling from, does even make any logical sense, and you see that right see that rain coming down. Can the camera pick that up? You know motorcycling It’s never dull. Ever sometimes It’s a fun dull in a way that you Don’t want it to be done. No, It’s not raining over here. You know this. This asphalt is dry. It was just raining right behind us. I’M like out of the rain. Now you know so you can see that right, you can see the road is dry, so weird man, you know it It’s June like that, if That’s something you’d experience being in April shower, although you know It’s kind of like, even though It’s June, It’s toward the End of June today was hot and quite humid: well not super humid, but he made it enough where you know there’s a good chance of rain at the end of the day when everything cools down anyway.

Okay, let me let me think about. Let me sink on this here, ninja 400. It’s a mall, pros and cons. You know pros It’s a good little vibe! You know It’s not expensive. You want to hear. Is you want to know a secret? I got this bike for forty six hundred hours and That’s new. You know, I know they like lists, and this is the ABS model to. I know they list for like what, like 40 or five thousand fifty five hundred. Therefore, nine, nine and four and a whole shitload of nines after it. What are you not? You know? Everyone says they’re five thousand dollars right, but I got it for forty six hundred. I think it was forty six enter. He might have been. No, it was yeah, it was forty five hundred, you know four thousand four hundred and ninety-nine dollars. That’s a ridiculous bargain. You know for a bike, that’ll go. You know zero to 60 in 4.6 seconds.

Is It Slow?

If That’s the thing people say this is a slow bike. You know or that you’re riding a slow bike fast, which is kind of true, but for a vehicle on a road being able to go zero to 60 in 4.6 seconds. That is nothing to scoff at. If you had a car that did that time, nobody would laugh at you. You know what I mean that car would be a badass car that was super expensive, well, expensive, maybe not super expensive and you would be respected. You know this. Ninja 400 comes with a kind of a bit of a what a It’s. The word, I’m looking for the connotation that It’s just not a real way or that It’s slow, I mean yes, some bikes look to 0 to 60 in, like what 2. You know 8 seconds, okay, fine! If That’s your thing go, do that go get yourself, a turbo Hayabusa, the turbo Musa, but you know zero to sixty and 4.6 or even 4.7 or even under five. That’s a good time. You Don’t need four wheels or That’s a good time and by time I mean both cents.

You know That’s a good time on the clock. It’s also a good time to be had so I you know, I Don’t know I just like you know. You know the one analogy I was thinking about this bike. This bike is sort of like. If it were a car, it would be a Miata. You know what I mean, because the Miata isn’t the fastest car in the world. You know It’s 0 to 60. Isn’t you know blisteringly fast? It’s not.

Compared to Cars

You know you’re not going to do a Tesla time, zero to 60 in a Miata. What you’re going to get is a good time. Every time you get in your Miata and take it out for a ride. You know what I mean like the Miata is about maintaining speed, holding your speed cornering. You know It’s about this. It’s about negotiating this kind of tight turn right here that I’m not even doing very well at negotiating, mainly because there’s cars in front of me, and mainly because I was in too high of a gear, but you know what I mean like this. This bike is like a Miata, It’s light, It’s responsive it corners really. Well, no you’re, not going to win, drag races with it. But That’s not what it is. You know It’s not like. It’s not just a you know: rocketship a slingshot that wants to go zero to 60 as fast as possible you’re, not going to do 150 miles an hour on this bike. You’re not going to do a 200 miles an hour on this bike. You get. You know you’re going to you can’t do 180 on this bike. I mean, based on my calculations, this thing’s going to max out at 120 mph. You know which I you know, I’ve only ever done like 110 and it kind of scared the bejesus out of me – and I Don’t want to say, scared the bejesus out of me, but it was like you know.

Going Over 100 MPH

How am I going to maintain this speed even on a interstate highway like the Jersey, Turnpike or the Garden State Parkway, It’s like how can I go much faster than 100 miles per hour here on these roads? That are, you know, a little broken up. Have other cars on them? I Don’t have the whole road to myself and you know there’s some debris here in there, even on the Turnpike and on the Parkway. So I you know. I know that they’re guys that I know that there are guys that will do 150 on those roads and they love it. But you know I’m not that guy, you know sue me, you know, call me a or a wimp whatever you want, but you know I do. An 85 90 is great for me and you know – and I know I’m not going to get a ticket for that. Probably I probably won’t you know if you’re doing 110 120 yeah, they can’t catch you, I guess, but they can sure radio ahead to the guy. You know the cop in front of you, that’s you know three miles down the road and he could catch you. You know, I think you know I just puts us up, you know, That’s not, who I am. I Don’t want to be like some reckless hooligan going 180 miles an hour on an interstate. You know. No, It’s not me, you know, I’m not, I’m not a competitive writer. I Don’t want to ride fighting for of all the time. Yeah I like a little bit here.

Safety

There get you know close to it. You know cuz, that is thrilling, but It’s also dangerous, and you know I Don’t to say I’m like you know, safety first, if I was safety first, I wouldn’t even own a motorcycle. I wouldn’t even be doing this right now. I wouldn’t be doing a moto vlog like if I was all about safety first, I wouldn’t do a moto block, because you know you got to kind of concentrate on another thing, while you’re riding and concentrating on riding is pretty much, you know a lot. In fact. One of the reasons why I like motorcycling is because it forces you to concentrate on motorcycling. You know, while you’re riding a motorcycle, you really can’t be thinking about too much else. So if you’re going to motovlog, you know, which is a thing where you ride and you vlog at the same time, you know arguably That’s more risky than just writing or just vlogging like at a desk.

Safety, conscious and you know a safety first kind of guy – I wouldn’t be motovlogging. I wouldn’t be even being motoring, you know so call me a if you want, because I Don’t do 145 miles per hour on the New Jersey Turnpike. You know if That’s who you are well, I’m going to disagree with you because I feel, like I got balls of plenty little ninja 400 on a stretch of road like this at 55 miles per hour, approaching 60 miles an hour. You know if this is what a looks like. I Don’t know what you know. I Don’t know what to tell you. You know, I Don’t know what kind of world you. Maybe you live in a world where, like all the women are rasuu per masculine, you know and that you have this weird reference point where, like chicks, are, have more chicks up, dicks or something I Don’t really know because I really can’t imagine, like you know a mama’s boy, pansy kind of woodsy guy doing what I’m doing right now – and I also you know a kid you Don’t add, or no there’s just a lot of weirdness and the other side there’s the whole biker.

You know the whole biker counterculture, like biker gang sons of anarchy. Like you know, these guys are active. Oh what’s going on these guys are, you know, actually uh cooking mass. You know like what the like. I Don’t know. I I’m a law-abiding citizen for the most part I mean I do break speed limits, but Don’t cook math, you know, you know what I mean. I Don’t I Don’t like going and break people’s knees because they didn’t pay their debts. You know motorcycling like a lot of us. Motorcyclists are normal human beings, you know not outlaws, but not scofflaws, Were not like the man. You know rebel and so bizarre and That’s cool. But, like I Don’t know at some point, you got to grow up right.

Some point: you got to grow up, you got to know your limitations. One of the greatest signs of maturity is knowing your limitations as a person, your physical limitations, your mental limitations, your financial limitations, all that stuff, knowing who you are and what space you inhabit and knowing like how wide or narrow your performance and being comfortable there. That’s the sign of maturity, you know thinking “Oh, I got to be a guy that can do a hundred and twenty all day long race replica.” That’s just weird! I mean if you want to do that. That’s fine, I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with that and if you can do that, Wow good for you, my hat is off to you, but that shouldn’t be like the benchmark standard by which all other motorcyclists are judged like. If you can’t do that, you’re inferior. You know what I’m saying I think you do is it. You know if you’ve been riding for a while, you know you come across all those stereotypes and tropes and you realize most of them. Are you know It’s just John anyways. I am having fun.

Riding with Go Pro

You know. I could do this all. I could literally go up and down this piece of road like they’re like hours and hours. You know, I Don’t think I’d ever get bored with it, because It’s just you know It’s these nice gentle turns some of them are a little tighter than other really forces. He who kind of perfect riding style anyways. That’s my mini review of the Kawasaki Ninja 400. I guess I should wrap it up, because you know I mean I could ride for another two hours. Then I’m going to run out of battery. You know to run out of a micro, SD card recording space. So thanks for hanging with me thanks for listening thanks for watching Oh gopher in the road look at oh go for alright, hey! No, there were another rider. Oh, I did a cyclist anyway. You know. I know you probably didn’t see it very well, because his Go Pros there’s so wide-angle everything looks so super spun super small. You know in the video, but that was a pretty phat golfer and it really stood out on the road and really made me think like what do I do now? Which way is he going to go left right?

You know so give me a little a little bit of a thrill so yeah. I may just end this review here and if so, thank you and goodbye, but I may also can continue. I’m going to continue riding and recording I’m going to make this right here, and maybe I’ll include this in the video, because this is a nice little scenic piece of road as well. It’s not as twisty as the road that we were on, but it you know It’s got its charm later on. There’s like a little stone bridge, Were going to go over, which is very picturesque. I’ve gone over it on my bicycle and done the GoPro thing over that Ridge and give you a little look at that check it out somewhere on the YouTube channel here see you know like I’m going 50. This is a 40. I believe It’s a 40 mph.

So, like you know, there’s kids that live on this road. I’M not going to go 90 miles an hour. Are you down here? You know I’m going to go. You know, 150. On this 40 mile stretch, I’m going to take this corner a little faster than you’re supposed to just for a little thrill. You know, but I’m not going to, take it. It lifts it 115. I am going to, take it at 50, maybe even 55 or 60, but I’m not going to go 70 80 90 miles per hour. No, no! I Don’t need to accelerate from you know, 35 to 65 in a quarter of a second or whatever those turbo boosters will do. I just want some thrills, not the maximum amount of thrill, that a motorcycle can possibly provide okay, so Were going to make the right here a downshift. I think second, would be a good gear for this turn. So you see that the sign says one lane bridge and there’s a little like there’s a mill house. You know there’s a dam and then this little house here that probably was some kind of a you – know: mill right, water power, probably ground-up grain or something.

That’s my zone. That’s where I have fun. You know I Don’t need to go twice the speed limit. Thus, I Don’t need a bike that you know. I mean this, but I can do twice the speed limit, but I Don’t I Don’t need like that kind of instant acceleration. It’s not what I’m looking for. That was fine. Take it a little wider than I wanted. It but I stayed on the correct side of the yellow, so It’s all good, again: 35 30 mile-per-hour zone, so the mph so and I’m doing 45. You know, and I even feel a little guilty about that: you’re, like I’m being a little too hooligan-istic, like that, I’m being too disrespectful for the people that live here because I live here. I live down the road, so you know I’m not going to go tearing around here so fast that I’m like giving everyone the middle finger. You know figuratively, That’s not me! Oh yeah, whatever there’s a car coming I’ll get up to speed soon enough yeah. So I think I’m just going to put this video up on YouTube unedited in its entirety and I’m not going to end it. Where I said I was going to end it cause. You know I’m kind of lazy.

Eventually this motovlogging thing I’ll get better at it. I’ll edit stuff together I’ll make them, you know shorter and snappier, because hey I’m actually a professional video producer and editor, That’s what I do for a living. Partly I do some other things too, but That’s my main, my main gig, so to speak, even though I’m a freelancer, I Don’t like a corporate job doing that editing, video stuff. I do projects as they come up, but you know I have the fun wow. What a little wider, but that was cool half the point of motovlogging for me, is just like one take upload a you know, leave all the all the crappy stuff in there. You know all the mistakes and all the like me mispronouncing words, and you know stammering and repeating myself. I just leave all that in there cuz you know a vlog is supposed to be a slice of life right it supposed to be like cinema.

So if you over produce a vlog you’re, arguably not being a vlog right, there’s a point why you can make a vlog into something else by you know over producing it at least That’s my theory. I think blogs vlogs should be somewhat raw and if they go long you know it who cares? If you want short and sweet, I Don’t know like Don’t listen to vlog, so you know It’s like a podcast. You know if you want short and sweet, Don’t listen to podcast. You know. Podcasts are like 20 minutes. Typically, if not an hour over an hour and a half you know you know, vlog to me is yeah. There is short form there is short form vlogging, and I will probably do that as well, but sometimes you want to just put on a vlog and just you know, zone out and just watch.
