We are for the 2015 Suzuki rmx450 launched at the map full of motorcycle adventures. With me is a Suzuki rmx450 marketing manager Louis Croft Louis mate what are we doing for the launch today? Here we’ve done a presentation we’ve given you an overview of the bikes. Last night for the media and now it’s the practical test. They are really gonna go out and start riding these bikes that I like the bass light. Now tell me what’s different about the rmx because it’s been out for four years. It hasn’t really changed why are we here?
Well, the main point of the launch is to demonstrate and show you that it’s now a dr approved. So you can actually ride it legally in the bush with registration in all states and territories in Australia. What else is different about this rmx. Well the rmx what we’re really coming up here to say to you guys is it’s a very hardcore or professional level trial bike. It is designed for people they don’t want to be aggressive riding with 450 pounds.
The rmx is based very closely off our arms at 450 championship-winning motorcycle so shares an alloy frame alloy swingarm fuel-injected. It has 450 cc engine offers a lot of power these ones here indeed restricted from our close to forty-eight horsepower at the rear wheel. The air at rental fat bars but it does have to endure a features thereof an a ten-inch rear wheel. It’s got enduro specific suspension wide ratio gearbox and that’s a handy thing is that having a kickstart and an electric starter. In this unit, the right position is actually very similar again to the motor craft box.
Those nice flat seats so you’re riding on top of the bike. It’s enabling the rider to obviously horn or lock that up and the suspension setting and stuff. The rmz is a bit of a handful probably it requires a lot more writer input. For me to go back onto the rmx I feel like more comfortable straightaways. They’re really looking forward to it and it’s a great bike. We don’t do a lot the motor is great as it is and we knew them to be super reliable. We don’t need more power when it’s out of the ground I suppose. We’ll concentrate on suspension set up more than anything else you know it’s been a long process to get it in. The ADR process but now we can really offer the Australian public really well-suited and competition level machine that’s ATR approved you.
