What’s up everybody this is the rabbit Hedgehog and now we’re gonna do the 2018 Suzuki m90 so we’ll go ahead and get up on this one here it’s got a primer light on it. For the fuel injections that show so it is primed up and good to go. Suzuki m90 as it turned signals bright and neutral obviously in the middle have an oil light temperature.
Let’s see that’s your flash to pass regular brights hazard left right off the horn and then, of course, pull in your clutch. Start even in neutral like most Suzuki and then you got odometer trip. It’s a very simple motorcycle setup I think has a big old wide tank. This is a big motorcycle it’s an M 99 T stands for the cubic inches of the engine so roughly 1500. This thing’s a big commanding presence on the road though you have this massive white tank. It sets you down on top of the motorcycle legs are way apart and got forward-mounted pegs. You’re in the absolute classic cruiser position you can see the arm is down and then straight out an absolute classic position for a cruiser.
These are goes are really easy to just get around with so that’s really nice to know. Though these bars are super wide some people might not find that very comfortable holding your hands without that wide. This thing five looks at that vibration coming through it this is in third gear. Right now good torque though fantastic torque raising the front in there go ahead. This engine breaking here a real quick engine braking is a really good bike.
Stepping down nicely there’s first gear and regular breaks in our how to quit and kind of spongy feeling. The brake lever as you can see is very spongy comes almost back to the handgrip. Then you don’t get very much room actually down here for your feet. Surprisingly despite the size of that peg, I can’t really get like if I’m in riding configuration. I had to kind of kick up and hit the back end of the exhaust there or my boot on the exhaust. That my big feet problem right and just move your foot up to fix. This is a second Suzuki Cruiser of Road that’s not the s40 so I will say that because that’s 40 is a cruiser technically.
The little bugger you know is its own little thing because it’s so old school. This one here like the m109 there’s so much gap in the gearing so she really has to change gears very often. You hit one and you’re pretty much done you just kind of stay there. Actually feels better in two but you get some good vibes through your feet but it’s got some potency too it. Those brakes are definitely squishy and like I said I was in second gear that whole time just holding city speed. It is definitely liked it now there’s no tachometer so I couldn’t tell you what it’s rpm was at that time. With these brakes are not the best looks like we got see if we got duel discs we do have dual-disc on the front but you just don’t feel.
I don’t feel like that’s gonna make my only complaint on it so far except back in. The second gear it’s just like sitting right there 45 and second gear 51-second gear no problem at all. Let me go ahead and third gear fourth gear fifth gear so bogging fifth look at this the tank moving around. Let’s go back to third still got a lot of feels like it’s bogging in third. This engine feels like it wants to go faster and it likes to be spun up. More basically than it does in the lower Rev that’s not a big problem. In all, it’s just kind of interesting let’s get some bumps here to get some good idea here.
This suspension really good suspension is actually really nice and it is an inverted fork. This bad boy here is super comfortable I mean I don’t mind being kind of spread out. Like this, I’m a bigger dude though so this is kind of like. My writing style right here gets out here and be a big man. I think bump didn’t really throw me off the seat either. That was nice the engine braking just wakes you up very good engine braking more to be desired. Though on the front and back brakes due to the wide handlebars. Actually I do have very good visibility out of the mirrors once more I definitely see everybody around you clutching. The clutch position when you come out into the friction zone.
You’re going to get almost there just past halfway and then you finally get that catch on your friction zone. You got a little bit of travel on your clutch before you get there I mean this thing doesn’t shake rattle and roll like your Harley Davidsons. Definitely you can feel it the whole time kind of a nice sound to it for stock exhaust. A little bit of rumble he said he pretty much just hit second gear and that’s all it just feels so much better.
The engine is completely spun up and then it’s in that powerband. I mean you can see these bike lurches and jumps just feels great. The vibration is limited to around your feet area but when you’re up in those other rpm ranges. You’ve got up here in third gear, for instance, you do get a little bit of vibration throughout the most of the motorcycles. You fill it in your kneecaps against the seat you fill it in the handlebars you see it in the mirrors.
You can see quite a bit of vibration through those mirrors that are in third gear go back to second gear and I’ll go ahead and do that look how much that cleans that up to see that cleans it up I hope that I can see. In the mirror but there’s a second third gear look at that bouncing so it cleans it up quite a bit just to be in a higher rpm range. It balances the engine out it definitely likes to Rev versus being lugged. I’m opposite of Harley you want to actually rev this bad boy out like accelerates. Though I mean it’s a very confidently powered bike it’s not a bike that feels underwhelming. If you ever ride a Vulcan 900 classic that engine feels so underwhelming on that motorcycle. It is not a very potent engine but this one I don’t know there’s a big difference between 900 and 1500 but this one feels more modern.
It feels a little bit better just feels good if for such a big guy he actually turns these brakes. I’m smashing them just to feel there’s it just they don’t feel they’re vague. They should just go ahead and make this one a two-speed for goodness sake. It just feels so much better in that range. I know these go faster you’ll get a highway run. It just does the work at a higher Rev and in second gear just it’s funny to me. I don’t know why it’s just awesome you get up to like 60 miles an hour. The second gear and it just feels so great because this bike doesn’t vibrate at all. You know there’s nothing wrong with it and the seating is so comfortable on this motorcycle.
